National Alliance Leadership Council Meeting

On Saturday, January 25th, 2025, in Sulaimani, the Leadership Council of the National Alliance, led by Mr. Karzan Luqman, the President of the Alliance, held its regular meeting.

During the meeting, discussions covered the global political landscape, regional developments, and particularly the changes affecting the Kurdish community.

Another focus of the session was the internal affairs of the Alliance, as well as an evaluation of the activities and achievements of the Alliance’s regional and local branches over the past period, with reflections on the way forward. Attendees shared their opinions and perspectives on these matters.

Additionally, the meeting involved discussions on new plans and programs, emphasizing a review of the Alliance’s direction and preparing for future challenges.

A significant topic addressed was the upcoming elections for Iraqi representatives, including the Alliance’s participation and preparations for this important event.

The meeting also devoted attention to the current situation of the Kurdish people across all regions. The Alliance emphasized the need for Kurdish political parties to prepare for all potential scenarios in the region, particularly those concerning the Kurdish community. Furthermore, the Alliance called on the parties to set aside their differences and prioritize national interests for the greater good of the Kurdish people.
